The previous HTML Full-Text error has been resolved by the provider of our WilsonWeb databases. All HTML Full Text articles can now be retrieved properly from WilsonWeb.
However, there are still problems in receiving articles and citations emailed from the database interface. I have contacted the vendor and requested that they attend to this problem. If anyone does not receive an article that they emailed from a WilsonWeb database, print or save the articles and citations.
If an article must be emailed, 1) copy and paste the article text into a Word document or into the body of an email OR 2) save the article from the database screen as PDF or HTML and attach to an email.

(Resolved)
We are experiencing intermittent problems with obtaining the HTML full text of WilsonWeb articles. When trying to open the HTML of a WilsonWeb article, we have witnessed that sometimes the article does not appear or only a portion of the text is retrieved. Additionally, some users are experiencing problems with receiving emailed articles from the database platform.
We are in communication with the vendor to determine the source of these problems.
To locate the alternate full-text of any article that may be giving you problems:
1. In WilsonWeb, open the PDF version of the article, if provided.
2. Check the E-Journal Portal to determine if the article might be available in another library database.
3. Check the Online Catalog to determine if the library subscribes to the hard copy of the journal, newspaper, or magazine.
4. If you do not correctly receive the emailed article, consider saving or printing the article instead. Please let me know specific articles that you have had problems obtaining in WilsonWeb.

Climate Change: Turning up the Heat
Is climate change really happening and does it matter? The answer from the scientific community is a resounding yes, yet debates about the reality of climate change and what measures to take are slowing our response. In the July eBook of the Month, leading climate researcher Barrie Pittock argues that we need to act urgently to avoid increasingly severe climate change.
To view the eBook, go to the Library’s homepage and select NetLibrary from the left hand of the screen or in the Databases by Title listing. The eBook is accessible from the lower right corner of the NetLibrary main page if you are a current MCC student, faculty or staff. The eBook can only be accessed by one person at a time; therefore, be sure to close the book when are finished viewing the item.
