December Minimester Information

Even though the MCC library building and face-to-face services will be closed (Dec. 9 – Jan 1) during the winter Minimester, the library anticipates that many students will be taking minimester courses that may benefit from the use of our library resources.

  1. We have created an online library guide for Minimester students at http://www.mclennan.edu/library/stu/mini.html. This page will be available as a visible link on the library home page, as well as located on the “Information for Students” page.
  2. Ask a Librarian: We will be offering a limited email reference service (responses in 12 hours) during the following dates: Dec. 13 - 23 and Dec. 26 - 28.  Emails can be sent to mcref@mclennan.edu or by using the Ask a Librarian form linked from the library home page.
  3. For literature courses, we have created a resources guide for Literature and Literary Research:

December eBook of the Month

To view the eBook, go to the Library’s homepage and select NetLibrary from the Quick Research Links on the left of the screen or in the Article Databases listing. The eBook is accessible from the lower right corner of the NetLibrary main page if you are a current MCC student, faculty or staff. The eBook can only be accessed by one person at a time; therefore, be sure to close the book when are finished viewing the item.
